Medicare Complaint Analyst

Position Summary

The Complaint Analyst will manage the Medicare Part D complaints received from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to ensure issues are resolved timely and in compliance with CMS guidelines.  This person will identify and analyze trends and emerging issues and recommend solutions, while also assisting the development and maintenance of tools for program oversight.

Additionally, the Complaint Analyst must maintain strong working relations with all internal and external personnel and be comfortable speaking with our Part D members, Pharmacists and CMS Representatives.  This person will maintain strict enforcement of confidentiality rules, have the ability to work independently under tight time frames and perform other duties as assigned. The position requires excellent problem solving skills and the ability to write clear, concise, effective correspondence and the ability to determine when a situation is complex enough and/or carries significant consequences to present to Senior Management.

 

Requirements include:Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related field or equivalent experience or combination of education and experience. Some Medicare Part D or Managed Care knowledge Prior knowledge of or exerience handling Medicare grievances, appeals or complaints strongly preferred. Computer proficency with MS Word, Exel and Project
