PHARMACIST: Hospital Pharmacy Assistant Director

We have an exciting opportunity for an up and coming managing pharmacist as an assistant director of the pharmacy in our 400+ bed progressive acute care facility in the Capital Region of New York State. New leadership in our department, along with the introduction of Computerized Physician Order Entry and a decentralized pharmacy model (creating a more clinical environment) make this an opportunity in which to learn and perform at a higher, more professional level than ever.

This is a Monday through Friday position in which you utilize your hands-on pharmacy experience in addition to assisting our new director with the day-to-day management of our versatile staff.

JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Manager of Pharmacy provides leadership in the development of department direction and implementation of systems that impact patient outcome through the optimal management of pharmacy systems and staff. Operational responsibility for the activities of the professional and technical staff and fiscal responsibility for the resources allocated to the department.

 

MUST BE A LICENSED PHARMACIST IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK OR ELIGIBLE FOR LICENSURE.
