Pharmacist In Charge

This position requires an active Arkansas Pharmacy License.  The position includes a full relocation package to the Philadelphia area,  Our pharmacy is located approximately 20 miles from beautiful downtown Philadelphia. 

 

As a Fulfillment Pharmacist with drugstore.com, you will contribute to the success of drugstore.com?s Pharmacy team in our Fulfillment operation. Duties will include, but are not limited to: performing quality control on filled prescriptions, clarifying information with doctor?s offices, applying clinical judgement in regard to patient requests and drug interactions, supervising the work of pharmacy technicians, and assisting customer care representatives with customer concerns.

 

Education and/or Experience:

? Bachelor of Science in pharmacy or Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy

? Pharmacy license in the state of Arkansas

? Minimum two (2) years experience in the Pharmacy field

Basic Duties and Responsibilities:

? Review prescription orders for accuracy in timely manner.

? Apply clinical and professional judgement regarding prescription orders, patient health profiles, DUR, allergies, and drug interactions

? Support customer care representatives in addressing customer concerns.

? Use drugstore.com?s state-of-the-art computer systems (Acquisition tool, RADS, Allpoints) to prepare scripts for delivery to customers.

? Supervise all functions of fulfillment technician/pharmacy assistant work including, but not limited to, automated dispensing, manual picking, exception processing, and return to stock.

? Work with supervisors and other members of the Pharmacy Operations team on special projects, as needed.

? Perform other related duties as required and assigned

? Support customer care needs on-call, 2-4 weekends and 14-28 evenings per year
