Package medications carefully and thoroughly in preparation of being mailed out to patients while maintaining high quality standards. Package special handling items accordingly. Verify/check address on prescription to ensure it matches the shipping label before sending the package. May accept orders at receiving door for pharmacy. Identify system problems and escalated to management as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 
1.  Package, seal and label orders according to pharmacy procedures.  Periodically process special shipping requests from customer service and pharmacy.  

     
2.  Enclose proper mailers with each order including patient advisory leaflet, invoice, information sheet and customized mailer for the next order. Verify/check address on prescription to ensure it matches the shipping label before sending packages to patients.  

     
3.  Package prescriptions requiring special handling according to specific requirements.  
     
4.  Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisor to ensure that best-practices are shared while maintaining productivity and quality standards.  

     
5.  Accept orders at receiving door for pharmacy as needed.  
     
6.  Identify system problems and escalated to management as needed.  
     
7.  Other duties as assigned. 

   

Available Shifts:
Mon - Fri - 5:30pm - 11:30pm
Friday - Monday (Fri 6:30am - 5:00pm, Sat 7:00am - 5:30pm, Sun 7:00am - 5:30pm, Mon 6:30am - 5pm)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:


Minimum requirements to competently perform the key responsibilities of this job in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge, skills, and abilities.

? High School diploma or equivalent
? Previous experience in mailroom, customer service or pharmacy very helpful
? Good communication skill and motivation
? Basic PC skills preferred
? Very detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
? Some light lifting
? Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate heavy work volumes
? Ability to stand for extended periods of time
