Shifts Available: Monday thru Friday, 12:00pm-9:00pm

 

Job Summary:

Receive and respond to calls from providers both physician?s offices and pharmacies. Enter pharmacy overrides into the WHI system based on approved guidelines and approvals from clinical pharmacists. Make out bound calls to physicians and pharmacies.

 

Essential Functions:Receive and respond to calls from physicians and pharmacists on a timely basis.Enter DER overrides into the WHI system on a timely basisRespond to requests from member service and other issuesReview members? profiles for the 4 brand limit and send letters to physicians with recommendations for changing therapies and prepare denial letters for approval by Pharmacists

 

Education/Experience:High School GraduateCertified Pharmacy Technician preferred but not required2 years experience in pharmacy operations managed care, hospitals and /or retail environments
