Pharmacy Technician (Warehouse Lead)

POSITION SUMMARY:

You will work with our Pharmacy Team in the Order Fulfillment process, Inventory Control, and coordination of shipments/deliveries.  You must have previous work experience in pharmacy inventory ordering and processing, be well organized, and be able to provide direction to team mates using a ?coaching? attitude.  You must also be flexible, and able to work independently, meet deadlines, establish priorities, and enter data efficiently and accurately. Home Infusion or specialty drug distribution experience preferred.

Our normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday days.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

? Assist Warehouse/Operations Manager in Inventory control and asset management

? Assist Warehouse/Operations Manager in coordinating and managing order fulfillment process and team responsibilities

? Accurate Data entry in information systems

? Check medications for expiration date routinely

? Participate in preparing and analyzing reports to promote quality, cost-effective treatment

? Quality Improvement/Outcome Management projects

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

? Currently hold a Pharmacy Technician License from state of Missouri or be eligible to obtain

? At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician with pharmacy purchasing/inventory control experience

? Requires ability to routinely lift 10 - 20 pound packages and heavier packages occasionally

? Hospital, Home Infusion or Specialty Drug Distribution experience a plus

? Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, exercise appropriate professional judgment, and prioritize tasks on a continuous basis

? Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills required

? Excellent computer/typing skills required

? High School diploma or GED
