Available Schedules:

Days: Monday ? Sunday, 6a-6p or 7a-5:30p

Evenings: Monday-Friday, 1-11:30p, 3-11:30p, or 5:30-11:30p

Hiring PT or FT, 8 or 10 hr shifts

 

Responsibilities: (vary depending on dept)

?  Contact doctors and/or patients to verify prescription information such as drug strength, prescription sig., and drug name

?  Interpret and verify prescription information entered into the system by data entry technicians

?  Contact physicians for new, transfer, and/or refill authorization

?  Compound, dispense and inspect medications filled manually or automatically

?  Verify and confirm validity of controlled substances

?  Consult with patients regarding the use of their medications and potential drug interactions

 

Qualifications:

?  Must possess a B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD

?  Hold an Arizona pharmacist license in good standing or be in the process of obtaining by reciprocity

?  Must have the ability to read and interpret prescriptions

?  Knowledge of PBM industry/managed care industry helpful

?  Must have a strong focus on customer service, quality, and accuracy

?  Ability to manage timelines and meet tight client deadlines

?  Must be flexible to adapt in a changing environment

?  Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues

?  Willingness to work a flexible schedule when business experiences peak volume
