Windows NT to Active Directory Migration Support Lead

Datanomics, a full service provider of computer consulting services since 1982, is currently seeking a Windows NT to Active Directory Migration Support Lead for a contract position with a pharmaceutical company in Summit, New Jersey.

 

Required Skills:  In-depth knowledge and hands on experience with Windows 2000 and 2003 OS, ctive Directory, Active AD, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), networking and logical process flow.

 

Knowledge of NT and AD group functionality, ACLs and SID history. 

Experience with Windows 2000 and Windows XP clients OS?s and client migration from NT to AD.

NT to AD MCSE, experience with NetIQ?s DR, knowledge of ADMT Version 3 a plus.

MS Exchange 5.5 and 2003 knowledge a plus.

 

Must have solid working experience with Word, Excel and MS Project for daily work activities.  Must have excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze issues and draw correlations leading to the identification, resolution or avoidance of issues

 

Experience with Remote Access tools including PCAnywhere, HP?s ILO, Citrix, Terminal Services, and RAS.

 

Must be able to communicate with team members and customers through verbal and written means.  Excellent writing and documentation skills.  Must be thorough, complete and detail oriented.  Ability to understand process concepts and follow directions and procedures is essential.

 

Operates with a strong customer service focus and pleasant demeanor at all times.  May require occasional irregular work hours (still an 8 hour day) to accommodate requirements of International or US based IT colleagues to provide infrastructure and migration assistance.
