Administrator - Surgery Center

Position Purpose: To provide leadership and manage daily operations of the center to ensure quality services and efficiency of operations.

 WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Position reports to: Reports to Vice President Clinical Services

 

Position supervises: All employees within the assigned center(s), RN?s, LPN?s, ORT?s, and Business Office Staff.

 

Interpersonal relationships: As a representative of the facility, all comments, attitudes, actions, and behaviors have a direct affect on the facility?s image and perceptions of quality service.  Interaction with patients, family members, physicians, referral sources, affiliating schools, visitors, etc.  must be in a manner that is friendly, supportive, courteous, respectful, cooperative, and professional.  This behavior should promote an atmosphere of team work which congruent with facility standards and guidelines to promote positive relations, and set am example for the staff.

 POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Licenses or Certifications: Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support Course

 

Education, vocational training and experience: Preferred graduated from an accredited college with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field.

 EXPERIENCE

Preferred a minimum of three years supervisory experience, preferably in the management of healthcare related organizations.  Must be experienced in working with various levels of employees.  Experience in working with physicians, patients, and various clinical staff desirable.
