Advice Nurse

Kaiser Permanente, renowned for a tradition of health care excellence, invites you to join its expanding team of dedicated professionals. Our Northern California Vallejo Call Center is seeking Advice Nurses to handle inbound telephone calls, assess and triage patients via telephone; following nursing protocols, identify patient needs, and implement care and/or initiate further action. Our Call Center Nurses support and demonstrate Kaiser Permanente?s/Call Center customer service philosophy and manage calls in a professional, systematic, and organized manner.



Requirements include RN experience in a Call Center, Ambulatory Care, Inpatient (acute care), Long Term Care, Case Management, Home Health, or related Clinical Nursing within the last 5 years. Current CA RN licensure required, BLS/CPR certification preferred. Various schedules are available. The ideal candidate possesses excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated effective telephone skills, be able to perform multiple tasks, and work in a fast paced environment. Excellent customer service, problem solving, and computer skills are a must. An excellent attendance record and the ability to work evenings/weekends, as necessary, are required.
