Between our Voorhees and Mount Holly hospitals, we deliver more than 7,700 babies a year. An experienced staff of maternity specialists is available 24 hours a day. We provide comprehensive neonatal intensive care for premature newborns, and a wide range of world-class pediatric specialty care through our Virtua/duPont Children's Health Program.

Our Voorhees campus currently has a full-time dayshift Assistant Nurse Manager opportunity in the Labor & Delivery unit who will coordinate patient care on the unit and communicate extensively with other care givers, patient, and/or patient?s family to promote positive patient outcomes. Supervise and participate in management of the unit. Assist the Nurse Director in coordinating the clinical activities on the unit. Participate in professional organizations when possible. Perfect skills and keep abreast of current nursing practice.


The qualified individual must have a current NJ RN license/eligible. At least 3 years of RN nursing experience in a Labor & Delivery environment is also required. BSN degree is preferred. Must have a broad knowledge of nursing practice and ability to apply specific skills in nursing intervention. Demonstrates competency in management and leadership skills.
