Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 260-bed facility and Level II Trauma Center, located in Carmichael, California. Established in 1967, our facility has continued to grow and support our surrounding community, by adding key specialty areas such as cardiac services, the Mercy Cancer Center, the Mercy Center for Breast Health, the Mercy Sleep Center, the NICU, Mercy Home Health and Hospice, Bariatric Surgery and in 1999 a Level II Trauma Center. Currently, we are focusing on our next endeavor, a $100 million expansion project, scheduled to open in 2009. The expansion includes a new 6-story wing that will bring an additional 100 care beds to the community, all of which will be private! We are especially proud of the national recognition we have received for our Family Birth Center, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Trauma Program.
