CNS, Clinical Nurse Specialist - Emergency Department

The Clinical Nurse Specialist will provide patient care and staff education to the Emergency Department by utilizing specialty training; consulting with patients and health professionals.??? This position reports to the Emergency Department Director.

Qualifications:

?- Minimum of 3 years experience in emergency, intensive care or trauma-related, preferably with a minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital emergency room.

- Excellent communication skills.

- MSN required.

- Registered nurse with the ability to gain state licensure.

- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

- Certification as Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) is desirable.
