CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)

In this role as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, you will be responsible for preoperative assessment of patient status and ordering of preoperative medication under supervision with administration of drugs to produce sedation or anesthesia, insert arterial, venous catheters, and monitor the patient during anesthesia until the patient regains consciousness. The CRNA is frequently involved with the Code 88 team for resuscitation.

 

Requirements:

 
Current NJ-RN license and AANA Council eligible/certified (new graduates must successfully complete board requirements within the first 3 months of graduation to remain employed). Minimum requirement of current ACLS. Maintain CEU status according to AANA Council on Re-Certification.
3 months' experience as a CRNA and previous cardiac anesthesia experience preferred
Will consider relocation package for 2-year commitment.
