Overview :

Registered Nurse, Cardiac Cath Lab
Full Time M-F with On-Call Requirement
Reports to Cath Lab Director

Responsibilities :

Assumes responsibility for providing patient care and/or directing patient care by utilizing initiative and independent judgement. He/she adheres to the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care rendered. These responsibilities are performed with a high degree of confidentiality and demonstrate effective patient/customer relations. Assumes responsibilities for general Cardiovascular and non-technical duties such as clerical, transcription, filing, etc.

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California. BCLS and ACLS certified. Basic arrhythmia certificate. IV therapy certificate. Participation in courses, workshops and seminars related to critical care subjects. Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring. Proficient in cardiac arrhythmias. Ability to make quick decisions and exercise good judgement. Minimum of one-year acute hospital experience and one year critical care unit.
