Case Manager-CLCP-Telecommuting Opportunity

Gould & Lamb is a medical-financial services company that specializes in the preparation of Medicare Set-Aside Arrangements for insurance carriers and self-insured entities.  Our staff consists of managed care, insurance, legal, healthcare, and financial professionals with extensive experience providing information and analyses to parties needing to settle claims, set reserves and process medical payments. 

 

We are looking for Certified Life Care Planner with extensive clinical expertise and analytical skills. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer proficiency is required, since the positions are work-from-home, with all of the medical case reviews and reports performed electronically via high speed Internet access.

 

We are looking for people who have a positive approach in the workplace and are engaged in their job.  Since this will be a new area of expertise for most applicants, the candidate must be able to learn quickly, accept feedback, work independently, and have a desire to grow with a company that has grown quickly.

Candidates should possess:

Prior work experience as anurse, therapist, or rehabilitation specialist (preferably with background in orthopedic, critical care, med-surg, rehabilitation, home health, case management, or utilization review).

Exceptional written communication and grammar skills 

Attention to detail, organization, and critical thinking abilities a must

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (you will be tested)

Adequate typing skills to compile reports from electronic medical record files
