Respected hospital has an immediate opening for the position of Chief Nursing Officer for their Northwest Arkansas hospital. The candidate will be expected to lead and manage the company?s busy team of nursing professionals. The hospital?s average census is 30-40 patients. They perform approximately 300 surgeries per month and treat approximately 1800 patients per month in their Emergency Department. No OB/Gyn services are performed at this facility.

 

Duties include:

 

1.)  Develop and implement patient care programs, as well as policies and procedures to assess and monitor employee performance

2.)  Recommend new facilities and equipment while monitoring cost control

3.)  Direct nursing staff and conduct regular departmental meetings and discussions

4.)  Promote a cooperative working relationship between physicians, departments and staff

 

Requirements:

1.)  BSN degree required

2.)  Master?s degree in Healthcare Management or Nursing preferred

3.)  Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in nursing management in an acute care setting

4.)  Excellent written and oral communication skills

5.)  Strong interpersonal and management skills with an ability to effectively problem-solve

Salary for this position is $85K range, depending on experience. Lucrative bonus opportunities (up to 40% of base salary). This is an established hospital offering an excellent opportunity for the right individual.
