Primary responsibilities include:


 


Performing telephonic case management, benefit reviews and notifications

Applying clinical knowledge to coordinate enrollee care needs for assigned members

Focusing on patients who are medically complex and require intensive medical and psychosocial support

Conducting non-English risk assessments through interpreter services

Meeting patient needs in the most cost-effective manner available



This role requires a licensed RN in AZ as well as demonstrated clinical experience in Med/Surg or another related hands-on role. A background with benefit determination and/or inpatient review is essential. Medicare and Medicaid experience is preferred. A case management background is desired. MS Office proficiency is a must. Strong typing skills are preferred. Case management certification is a plus.
