Clinical expert that applies knowledge of clinical workflow and hospital/medical environment to support the requirements and specifications for CardinalHealth, CTS Products.? The clinical manager will work closely with the Product Manager to establish user needs that will result in measurable clinical improvement. Along with the Product Manager, the Clinical Manager will work with product development teams, sales, quality assurance, regulatory? affairs, external customer, and other functions of groups to achieve measurable benefits for our customers.? Additional responsibilities include:

??????Able to define and assess variations in clinical workflow for the product/functional area of focus.? Participates in one or more product development/improvement teams or other cross functional project teams.


??????Reviews medical and scientific literature to maintain expertise and current awareness of issues relevant to projects.


??????Identifies opportunities and methods to obtain user input in product design and development. Contributes to the development of simulations and product evaluations to demonstrate the ability of the product to meet the user needs identified and achieve clinical acceptability and performance in comparison to comparative products.


??????With user needs as a guide works with Product Manager, and the project individuals/ teams to provide feedback on product design and assist in business decision making.


??????Participate in the definition of implementation process and initial support tools for new product implementations.


??????Participates in the definition of training programs for customers, distributor representatives and sales representatives.


??????Provides support for product materials such as directions for use, case studies, white papers and other materials that will result in customer adoption and satisfaction with the product.


??????Performs other duties as assigned.



??????Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent degree; Master's degree preferred.?

??????8 to 12 years experience in or directly relating to, clinical settings, particularly in the areas of hospital patient care, and medical product evaluation; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

??????Currently licensed as a registered nurse.? Prefer consulting and teaching experience.

??????Minimum of seven years experience in a health care facility and possess an understanding of nursing/pharmacy/physician clinical processes.

??????Maintains an active membership in a professional organization.

??????Automation experience with Pyxis experience preferred.?

??????Requires a clinician with an extensive clinical background and an in-depth knowledge of the performance and application products used to care for patients in a clinical setting.

??????Knowledge or proficiency in computer software applications such as word processing, graphic and spreadsheet applications is required. The position requires an individual that is able to work either independently or as a member of a team.

??????The clinician must be able to travel on an as needed basis.
