Virtua Health HomeCare Division offers services including: early intervention, health promotions, and special child health services in addition to traditional skilled nursing and maternal child health, in the tri-county area-Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties. Our offices are located in Mount Laurel and Gloucester County Washington Township.

 

We are currently seeking a full-time (40rs/wk dayshift) Clinical Nurse Specialist who will provide acute and rehabilitative care for people with selected disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems. Acts as an educator, consultant, and clinician. The Enterostomal Therapist plays a pivotal role in the guidance of optimal patient care. Must have demonstrated ability in clinical/nursing practice and teaching. Must have leadership qualities and the ability to work effectively with others. Must be able to organize and prioritize multiple and complex system issues/work load. Requires evidence of maintaining knowledge and skills through continuing education and independent study.

 

Requirements include: individual must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have a valid NJ RN license/eligible for one. BSN degree required. Current board certification as WOC (ET) Nurse (CWOCN) by the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification Board or presently enrolled in WOCN accredited ET program with certification within 12 months of hire. Refer to the Educational/Regulatory  Requirements (Department Specific) policy in the Nursing Administration Manual. Must have a valid driver?s license and auto insurance if position requires travel within the hospital system.
