This position is located in a small nursing home across from Beth Israel.

Beth Israel Medical Center is a 1,368-bed, full-service tertiary teaching hospital that was founded on Manhattan's Lower East Side before the turn of the 20th century. Beth Israel originally was dedicated to serving a vulnerable population in that community. Now a century later, the Medical Center serves individuals and families from every walk of life throughout New York City and beyond.

 

 

Opportunity:

We are seeking a RN to supervise shifts with unit based responsibilities such as performance evaluations, policy and procedure initiation, time and attendance monitoring, time cards responsibilities, comprehensive chart review with plan care initiation/evaluation, unit based QI measurements etc. This position also includes working as a desk nurse incorporating all duties of a functioning charge nurse. The position is located in a small nursing home for long term Aids patients.

 

Requirements:

Must have minimum 2 years of solid clinical experience either in a hospital setting or a long term facility. Charge nurse, supervisory and/or psych/chemical dependency background. RN with previous experience working with AIDS patients. Cuurent NYS RN Licensure a must.

 

Additional Information:

Day shift Monday - Friday 7am-3pm, No weekends
