Family Advocacy Nurse-Community Health Nurse

Community Health Nurse funtions as the key facilitator for the implementation and management of an Air Force clinic based New Parent Support Program (NPSP).

Duties include: Home Visits to families at risk for family maltreatment

Promotes a team approach to service delivery in the screening process, engagement of prospective participants for the intensive home visitation services.

Serve as a liason and expert consultant on the prevention of family violence and maternal/child health issues.
