Consumer Affairs Analyst Senior

Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the initiation, evaluation, investigation, documentation and closure of medical (Adverse Event/Medical Device Report) complaints for Alcon Technical Consumer Affairs. This involves front-line communication with healthcare professionals, i.e., surgeons, doctors, nurses and bio-medical engineers; regulatory and legal bodies as well as all levels of management and all international affiliates. Provide detailed summaries of complaint evaluation/investigations. Provide medico-legal opinion and information on complaints to customers and Alcon employees and act as an on-site consultant when mitigation is required. Assist in the training process for various groups and entities on various medical and regulatory topics.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a BS degree in Nursing or Scientific discipline with a minimum of six (6) years related ophthalmic nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
BSN with CRNO (Certified Registered Nurse in Ophthalmology) preferred. Regulatory or consumer affairs experience with diversified responsibilities preferred.
