This position reports directly to the Director of HeaParticipate in Health Unit programs in the areas of blood drives, medical testing, and screenings (i.e. eye, skin, PSA, mammography. Must be able to work with the third party providers and manage follow-up referrals. Programs includes but is not limited to:
Glaucoma & vision screenings
CPR training
Breast Cancer
PSA
Skin Cancer
Hypertension
Cholesterol screening
Diabetes screening
Flu Immunization


The Health Unit is available to all our employees and associates. Approximate population of employees currently at 2,200 plus sales associates approx. 7,000 -8,000, family members and all employees of Alliance/Bernstein, about 2,000. The Health Unit services approx. 2,600 patients annually for sick call, allergy shots and emergencies. In addition each screening program handles 250-400 patients per program and the flu program services upwards of 800 employees. Personal Concerns handles 10-20 calls per week.

Provide Human Resources information on drug screenings for new employees.

Active member of the Disaster Recovery Team to help prepare our company's to response to any disaster. This entails detail planning, taking action steps to be prepared, participating in drills/simulations, and staying current on these issues. Must be willing to be on-call in the case of an emergency.



Job Requirements:
Provide on-site medical care including emergency care, sick call, drawing blood, pre-employment screenings and participating during wellness screening programs. Walk-ins include approx. 200 monthly.

Ideal candidate should have the following work experience:
Registered Nurse with 3-5 years experience in Corporate Health.

Ideal candidate education:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Certificate in Occupational Health is a plus.

Ideal candidate skills:
Good people skills, compassionate, resourceful in helping employees with medical issues, good written and oral communication, basic computer skills, and be well organized.
