JOB DESCRIPTION and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support and manage the Nursing Staff and Departments to continuously balance, improve, and maintain the highest quality of healthcare to our facility, staff, and to our patients.
- Address patient care with exceptional planning and strategic implementation of meetings.
- Develop department budgets.
- Proactive in recruitment, retention, and educational programs for the nursing staff.
- Continuous leadership support to your team of nurses, staff, and patients.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
*A BSN required with a current and valid RN license from the State of Utah - with no restrictions on ability to practice.
*A Masters Degree in Nursing or related field is highly desirable.
*5+ years experience as a DON, Assistant Director of Nursing or equivalent supervisory nursing experience.
Salary is negotiable - DOE
