JOB DESCRIPTION

 

This flagship hospital seeks a talented DIRECTOR OF CARDIOVASCULAR SERVICES. The successful candidate will lead the integrated product line for the Cardiovascular Services throughout the medical center. He/she will oversee the inpatient and ambulatory system for the cardiac population.  The individual will partner with senior leadership to implement the strategic plan to develop and implement programs and projects for the service line and will have overall responsibility for operations, finance, personnel and equipment management. The successful candidate will be the key leader of the Cardiovascular service line and will work closely with department managers, physicians and senior administration to develop premier programs and services for the Cardiac population.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

 
Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business
Minimum of 5 years of strong management experience in Cardiac Service Line
Excellent financial and operations experience
Current knowledge of industry
Excellent leadership and management skills
Experience in developing cardiovascular services and programs
Surgical nursing background or radiology/imaging background
Excellent communication skills
Action-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit
