Millcroft is a large premier CCRC located in Newark, DE. The ideal Director of Nursing candidate will be responsible for effective overall management of the Nursing Department on a 110-bed skilled nursing unit within the CCRC.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required: Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice that include a basic knowledge in Geriatric Nursing. Familiarity with State and Federal Regulations. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with other personnel, professional and business persons, residents and families, and the general public. Plan, coordinates and manages the nursing Department. Responsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to the residents. Coordinate interdisciplinary resident care management efforts. Ensures effective and efficient organization and staffing of the nursing department.

Other Requirements: Clinical staff management and customer service 2 to 5 years experience in a nurse management role in long term care and current licensure in the state of DE or eligible
