Senior Vice President of Clinical Services

Job Summary:        

The role provides support, training, clinical and technical advice in the areas of regulation and standards of resident care.    Individual consults with all levels of the organization on regulatory issues.

Job Requirements:        

?  Associate or higher degree in nursing

?  Current/Active RN license

?  Three to five years multi-state clinical operations

?  Experience in successful plan of correction development/submission

?  Through knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care

?  Strong organizational skills in managing large volumes of paper and electronic data

?  Exceptional computer skills in basic software programs and ability manage database

 

Responsibilities:        

?  Maintain system to track regulatory occurrences to include communication/notification, database management and reporting.

?  Provide education as identified or requested for regional, district and facility staff on regulatory process/requirements.

?  Liaison with legal department on critical regulatory issues, including substandard or IJ designations, IDR, Appeals or CMPs.

?  Lead projects as assigned.

?  Support region, district and facility staff in plan of correction development as required/requested.

?  Represents the department and company on related committees, work groups and professional organizations.
