Director of Telemetry

The Director is responsible for the overall planning, organizing and financial management of the Telemetry unit.  Develop and implement short and long term business plans and policies to reach established goals. Communicate with department staff and facility management on a regular and ad-hoc basis. Monitor and improve department financial and business related measurements.  Hire and retain high quality of staff in key positions. Develop and manage department specific operating and capital budgets and partner with Nurse professionals to manage the practice of Nursing. 

 

Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing, BSN preferred with a current RN license in the State of Florida, BLS and ACLS. A minimum of 3 years? management experience in an acute care hospital.  Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of a department?s operation including, but not limited to, planning, budgeting, staffing and communicating effectively with patients, physicians, family members and vendors.
