About the Opportunity
The Wound Care RN provides daily, hospital wide treatment for all wound care patients and assists the Wound Care Coordinator with wound assessments and pressure prevention. Specific responsibilities include:
? Preparing assessment of patient's progress and keeping family informed.
? Monitoring pain management procedures.
? Participating in the discharge-planning process.
? Ensuring current and accurate patient documentation.
? Supervising ancillary staff members.

This is a part-time, weekend day shift position.

Qualifications
? Minimum 2 years experience in Wound Care.
? WOCN strongly preferred.
? BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
? Knowledge of medication-administration procedures.
? Current North Carolina RN license in good standing.
? Bachelor's degree in Nursing, an Associate's degree, or a Nursing diploma from an accredited Institution.
? Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
