Field Director, RN

The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (Joint Commission) is an independent, not-for-profit organization located in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.  We accredit more than 15,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States.

 

The Joint Commission, a leader in the nation?s health care community, is seeking a Field Director to provide direction and leadership to our surveyors and reviewers. Responsibilities will be split 50% between the Hospital Accreditation Program and 50% Disease Specific Care Certification Programs.   Responsibilities include assisting with workforce planning; in conjunction with operations team, ensuring that organizations receive excellent customer service and that their accreditation and certification needs are met; providing direct management and support to surveyors and reviewers; and participating in corporate strategic planning and budgeting process.

 

Requirements include: RN with Master?s degree in management or related field; at least five years of management experience and knowledge of Joint Commission policies, standards, survey, accreditation and certification processes. Remote workforce management experience a plus. 50% travel required.
