Field Product Training Specialist – East -- Medical Devices

Field Product Specialist ? Eastern Region  (Home office; will travel)

 

If you have superior communication skills, medical device expertise (preferably spine), and a willingness to travel, here?s a great opportunity for you.

 

Your home base is not critical, but you need to live near a major airport. You?ll be supporting sales staff based in Boston, Philadelphia, and Atlanta, with more to come.

 

Responsibilities:

 Provide technical and clinical applications support to appropriate medical staff on products and procedures.Provide training to IST sales staff by traveling in the field and also participating in a variety of sales training and medical education events.Participate as a key IST staff member at cadaver labs and industry trade shows and conferences.Provide technical and clinical support to sales representatives at major product presentations to potential customers.Participate as a key member of the IST team by providing market intelligence, competitive intelligence, product feedback and customer feedback on an ongoing basis.Provide back up clinical case coverage on an as needed basis.Participate in ongoing sales and product training to remain fully competent on IST products and techniques.Meet or exceed other expectations as defined by Sales management.Travel as much as 50% - 75% of the time, including some limited weekend travel.

 

Qualifications:

 

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales or clinical support position in the medical device industry, preferably spine or orthopedics, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a surgical clinical role within a hospital.  Professional accomplishments that reflect a successful track record, good organization skills, dynamic communication skills, commitment to teamwork, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Bachelor?s degree in Business, Medical Science or equivalent experience, and a valid driver?s license.
