Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Shares the accountability for the 24 hour management of clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery, the management of human, fiscal and other resources, the development of personnel, compliance with regulatory and professional standards, strategic planning and the fostering of interdisciplinary collaborative relationships within the selected unit of responsibility and Allen Health Systems as a whole.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Current license in the State of Iowa.

Satisfactory performance in staff nurse or charge nurse role for a minimum of five years required.

Demonstrated competence in leadership skills.

Ability to plan, direct, implement, and evaluate the nursing care delivered to a group of patients.

BSN or equivalent preferred.

Able to meet the physical demands as described in the ADA forms on file in the Human Resource Department.
