Job Posting Description
Part-time 24 hr/wk nurse practitioner or very skilled and experienced RN position available in the adult clinic at the MEHC. The HIV NP collaborates with an ID physician from BHW in the care management for the HIV clients. This NP is responsible for the client's care coordination, health promotion and education, evaluation of acute care needs in collaboration with the MEHC adult primary care physicians and documentation. Additionally this NP is responsible to provide primary and acute care clinical services in the adult clinic as well as quality improvement projects.
This NP will work collaboratively and be an essential partner with MEHC and CHB HIV clinical service and case management programs. MEHC has HIV counseling and testing program as well as case management services. There are currently 14 clients followed by the NP and ID physician.

Skills and Responsibilities include:

Strong NP skills or very strong clinically relevant HIV experience and practice
Strong collaborative and program integration sense
Commitment to this community and highly specialized work
Willingness to work closely with full adult clinic team
Must be comfortable consulting with referring physicians
