Hospice of the West: Director of Clinical Services



Become a part of our rapidly growing team at Hospice of the West. As the Director of Clinical Services, you will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating all patient and family services as well as manage patient care staff. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will:



Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, and procedures



Ensure regulatory compliance with regard to patient and family services



Manage staffing and coverage



Oversee orientation and ongoing education of the clinical staff



Serve as liaison for hospice care team members





Requirements:



Registered nurse with a current state license



Minimum of three years of clinical management experience



Experience in providing services to terminally ill patients



Must demonstrate a commitment to the hospice philosophy of care



Must be available to participate in 24-hour on-call coverage



Previous hospice experience preferred



Knowledge of hospice reimbursement requirements preferred





This challenging position will also focus on educational programs and training, and will involve participation on committees and special projects within the hospice organization.
