Samaritan Care Hospice, a hospice agency committed to delivering high quality end of life care is seeking a RN Staff Development Coordinator for our Hospice operations located in the Fort Worth, TX metro area. About the Opportunity

The Staff Development Coordinator provides educational and learning opportunities within a supportive environment that will assist clinical personnel in gaining knowledge, skills and appropriate behaviors necessary to perform assigned duties safely and competently. Coordinates learning experiences that support quality services consistent with standards and practice guidelines of the facility. Monitors the activities of all personnel to provide quality services that comply with State, Federal, and corporate standards.

 

Essential Functions (summary):

Understands facility standards and practice guidelines as well as state and federal regulations.

Develops and directs orientation programs for all personnel in accordance with established standards and practice guidelines.

Maintains accurate, complete and current records of educational programs and personnel participation.

Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director and motivator. Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively.

RN licensed required.

Previous experience in Adult Education preferred; 2-3 years experience in hospice required.
