MANAGER OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SERVICES

  Manage the Occupational Health Services department including the direct supervision of 2 full-time Contract Nurses and 2 part-time Contract Nurses for support of 9 medical surveillance programs, physicals, Worker's Compensation, out of work and return to work cases. Manage the MET/AED-Medical Emergency Technician program training certification and documentation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
Medical inputs to Corporate as part of the Corporate Health and Safety team.
Manage the department budget, forecasting and spending for the Occupational Health department.  
Monthly, quarterly and annual reports required by Management, Corporate, Bureau of Labor Standards and OSHA.

 

REQUIRMENTS:

 
Current license to practice as a Professional Registered Nurse in the State of Maine.
Previous experience in Occupational Health nursing with certification in COHN-S CM.
Working knowledge of environmental health, case management, OSHA regulations, Maine Worker's Compensation law, ADA and FMLA.
Experience with Medical Surveillance programs, Ergonomics, Blood borne pathogens and HIPAA.
Current certifications in CPR/AED, Spirometry and Hearing Conservation.
