MSN Professional Development Specialist Intraoperative

Responsibilities This position will provide service group educational support to clinical staff and will be focused on staff clinical development and expertise. Will work intimately with the service group director and Clinical Nurse Specialist to plan for the development of excellence in care. This position will emphasize the use of educational theory and expertise to foster clinical growth to increase the competency of staff and ensure safe and positive patient outcomes. QualificationsEducation: Masters in Nursing is required. Emphasis on education with current clinical competence in service group is preferred.

Licensures/Certifications: Current active Washington State Registered Nurse license.

Experience and Skills: Minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing leadership including clinical experience in associated service line area. Must demonstrate competency to accurately operate basic business software programs, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word. Additionally, must have proficiency in educational tools/strategies, equipment and theories to tailor learning experiences to specific audiences. Dept Marketing StatementMSN PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST- INTRA-OPERATIVE SERVICE LINE, Center For Nursing Excellence -  Regular, Exempt, Full time 1.0, 40 hours week.  This is a benefit elgible position.

SALARY SCALE: Placement within the scale is dependent upon years of work experience.  The salary scale is reviewed on an annual basis for market comparison and may change in pace with the market.
