MANAGER CLINICAL SERVICES

AmSurg Corp is the nation's leader in single specialty surgery with 153 centers in 32 states. Each surgery center operates as a partnership between the physician partners and AmSurg. While our physician partners concentrate on providing quality patient care, AmSurg oversees the clinical services, business office, marketing, financial reporting, accreditation and administrative operations of the surgery centers. We currently have opening for Manager Clinical Services in our King of Prussia, PA regional office.

 

Responsibilities: Responsible for clinical services activities in 8 - 10 surgery centers Develop and implement corporate and clinical services policies and procedures at the center level Maintain current knowledge of federal and state regulations and standards of accrediting organizations pertaining to ambulatory surgery centers Responsible for the clinical aspects of the Center Director's performance Monitor, audit and evaluate the quality of the clinical services provided at the surgery center Responsible for conducting on-site assessments Address physician partner concerns and problems relating to clinical services Participate in the center's business plan process, and represent clinical services at Board Meetings with Partnerships

 

Qualifications:

Selected candidate must have an RN degree from an accredited school and hold current licensure as an RN. Minimum of 3 years perioperative nursing experience required preferably in a surgery center setting. Endoscopic or Ophthalmology experience also helpful. Candidate must have demonstrated oral and written communication skills and be proficient in word processing. Travel required.
