JOB DETAILS: PayGrade: 145, Scheduled hours per week: 40.00, Begin and end Times: 8AM - 5PM; Days of work: Mon - Fri
SUMMARY:
The manager is responsible for the day to day administrative operation of Cancer Research and Registry Services for Grant/Riverside Methodist Hospitals. The Manager assumes responsibility for oversight and management of daily operations for all aspects of the department including personnel and budgetary management. He/she also assists the Medical Director of Oncology in planning and implementing cancer research and registry programs and services at Grant/Riverside Methodist Hospitals including crossing departmental lines to coordinate services. In addition, the manager acts as one of the liaisons to the Columbus Community Clinical Oncology Program as well as other research consortia (e.g. OSU, COG), representing Cancer Research and Registry Services, Riverside Methodist Hospitals.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Leadership and management skills, financial management skills, working knowledge of oncology and educational principles, public relations and public speaking skills.
KIND and LENGTH of EXPERIENCE
5 yrs in field of oncology. 2-3 yrs administrative/management experience.
