Qualifications

Is a compelling and articulate speaker in a variety of settings. Easily adjusts the message to match the audience.

Has extensive knowledge of the uses, dosages, side effects of medications as they apply to different disease states. Able to assess clinically whether medication is effective.

Supervisory or lead experience in a hospital environment.

Capable of performing general procedural nursing duties.

Promotes team spirit and works collaboratively to achieve team goals.

Displays professionalism, compassion, and sound medical practice when dealing with challenging patients.

Has perfect attendance and can be trusted to handle a high level of responsibility.

Remains composed and behaves professionally during emotionally-charged or stressful situations.

Performs medical tests and accurately interprets results.

Masters Degree in Nursing. Minimum 5 years experience with 3 years in the care of children.

Licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in District of Columbia
