Job/Unit Description:


Full-time night RN position, 7am-7pm, on Nuero ICU unit. Recent acute-care hospital experience required on a Med/Surg or related unit. Nuero and telemetry experience preferred. CNRN and ACLS a plus! We will train for telemetry if needed.  Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Florida.

The Florida Hospital Neuroscience Institute (FH NSI) provides the opportunity to excel with one of the largest medical centers in the nation, and one of the most comprehensive institutes of its kind in the Southeast.  Our highly skilled Neuro team treats more stroke patients and performs more neurosurgeries than any other hospital system in the state of FL.  Supported by recognized physicians, highly trained health care professionals, technologically advanced diagnostic equipment and treatment facilities, comprehensive rehabilitation programs and clinical research, Florida Hospital has been recognized by US News & World Report as one of “America’s Best Hospitlas for Neurology and Neurosurgery Services”.  So, it’s probably no surprise that our Neuro and Neuro Critical Care nurses are some of the most impressive in the field.


The Neuro Critical Care Unit is a 16 bed acute care unit.  The nurse to patient ratio is 1:2.  The patient population consists primarily of surgical patients, including spinal and brain surgeries, hemorrhagic pathologies, brain attack patients, medical neurological pathologies and seizures.
