At MVRRH, we are looking for an Executive Director of Nursing.  This leader must have strong communication skills and help us build and inspire our team.  The Executive DON will lead and direct the overall nursing operations of the hospital within established quality, clinical, financial and budgetary guidelines and also be part of the Senior Management Team that directs the vision and the goal of the hospital.

 

Our hospital, designed solely for the provision of specialized rehabilitative care, is the only freestanding acute rehabilitation hospital serving all of Central and Northern Arizona. The facility?s unique design fosters a comfortable and responsive environment for our patients. Our hospital provides rehabilitative services for patients with functional deficits as a result of debilitating illnesses, or injuries. Through our inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs, we help patients recover quickly and return home with a renewed sense of self-sufficiency.

An undergraduate degree in nursing is required, but a Masters degree in nursing or a related field is highly desired.  Experience in nursing administration is also preferred.  Qualified candidates must possess a strong commitment to excellent clinical outcomes, cost efficiency, product enhancement, and high business ethics.  A background in acute rehabilitation and clinical recruitment is preferred.  The incumbent must also be able to obtain a nursing license in the state of Arizona before their start date.
