Key responsibilities include:
Providing a wide scope of oversight for the quality and compliance aspects of a start-up Hospice program
Auditing medical charts and ensuring our documentation adheres to regulatory guidelines
Educating and mentoring other nurses on various quality and compliance functions
Training colleagues on Medicare/Medicaid regulations
Giving orientations for newly hired staff members



Only licensed Maryland RNs will be considered for this role, and solid clinical experience is also needed, preferably in home health or hospice. Staff education and QA experience is preferred. Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid programs is a plus, and PC proficiency is essential.
