Nurse Manager O/P

POSITION PURPOSE: 

 

Under the direction of the Vice President of Physician Services, provides general management and supervision of the on-going operations of multi-physician office environments; ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction, efficient staff performance, and setting and meeting budget targets.

 

NATURE AND SCOPE:     

 

The major challenges for this position include:

 

?  Ensures maximum daily productivity and high level of service to patients;

 

?  Develops and implements all back office policies and procedures pertaining to the day to day operations of multiple physician office practices;

 

?  Responsible for all aspects of supervision for all back office staff including hiring, counseling, and competencies/performance appraisals.

 

?  Assists with the development and management of clinic budgets.

 

The incumbent has the authority to assess and direct resolution of all staff problems with his/her knowledge of operations; to set deadlines for assigned projects, and to provide management, systems, and consultation expertise.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Appropriate Education to obtain and maintain State of Nevada Nursing License.

 

Experience: Minimum three years supervisory experience in a physician office practice required.

 

License(s)/Certification(s):  Registered Nurse in the state of Nevada required.
