Nursing Administrator - Patient Care

Reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer.  Responsible for the management, nursing and support staff in assigned service line.  Accountable for nursing practice and all operations, including budget for a service line or related multiple functional areas within patient care services.  Responsible for significant policy development and implementation within recognized area of responsibility resulting in meeting all professional regulatory ad system requirements.  Responsibilities include development of patient care systems, collaborative practice initiatives and implementation of quality improvement and safety programs that are aligned with system strategic initiatives.  Accountable for establishing effective collaborative relationships with medical group, hospital and other service line leaders.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree is required with current Michigan RN license.  Master's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Care Administration or equivalent is required.  Three to five years experience in Maternal Child nursing.
