Virtua Health-Memorial Hospital Burlington County located in Mount Holly, New Jersey currently has a full-time dayshift Nursing Director opportunity for an individual who will provide leadership for oncology nursing areas (inpatient and ambulatory infusion) and promote a climate for effective performance while allocating available resources to promote efficient, effective, and quality nursing care to create an outstanding patient experience. Contribute to the strategic planning process, day-to-day operations, and attainment of goals of the organization. Must have excellent leadership qualities and have the ability to work effectively with others.
The qualified individual must have a current NJ RN Registered Nurse License/eligible; BSN or Bachelor?s degree in related field required; Master?s Degree preferred. Oncology certification required, chemo. certification preferred. Requires 5 years recent oncology clinical management experience.
Virtua Health Memorial Hospital Burlington County located in Mount Holly, New Jersey currently has 433 beds and is the first hospital in South Jersey to be granted the coveted Primary Stroke Center Certification by JCAHO. The hospital also receives 60,000 ED visits annually. Our facility currently features a newly designed 24-bed patient care unit for intensive care and cardiac care patients. In addition, Virtua Memorial Hospital recently partnered with Samaritan Hospice to open the first in-hospital hospice unit in Burlington County. Our Critical Care/ICU unit is a newly renovated unit with up-to-date technology with portable ultrasound for line placement.
