Nursing Home Administrator - Great Denver Facility!

North Valley Hospital, a Vibra Healthcare Specialty Hospital, is located in Thornton Colorado 10 minutes North of Denver.  The facility has a 54 bed LATCH, 24 bed SNF and a 16 bed geriatric psych unit.The location is great, close to skiing, Denver night life and beautiful mountains.  We are searching for a licensed Nursing Home Administrator to run our Skilled Nursing facility.  This unit acts more like a hospital back-up unit with patients ranging in acuity and is very fast-paced. 

 

Key areas of responsibility will be:Develop SNF system Policy and procedure development Planning of appropriate utilization of resources Maintain and improve the work environment Develop capital and operating budgets Team development and collaboration with the SNF D.O.N. Ensure regulatory compliance Collaborate with Business Development for marketing of the SNF

Education: Degreed in a healthcare discipline. Masters level preparation is desirable.

Professional Experience: Three years in an administrative position within a skilled nursing facility.

Technical Skills: Demonstrated leadership and management skills. Observation, listening, verbalization and negotiating skills. Fluent in written and oral English.

Certification/Licensure: Valid Colorado Nursing Home Administrator license. Current CPR.
