The Operating Room at Children?s is a collaborative team of surgeons, nurses, technicians and assistants. We provide perioperative care to both in-patients and outpatients. Children's at Scottish Rite and Children's at Egleston Operating Rooms perform approximately 24,000 surgical procedures yearly. The Operating Room at Scottish Rite consists of 9 O.R. suites and provides the following surgical services:Dental (oral surgery)ENTGeneral surgeryLaser surgeryNeurosurgeryOphthalmologyOrthopedicPlastic/ReconstructiveUrology

 

***This position will be the Resource Nurse for the Plastic Surgery service line*** 

 

Job Summary: 

The Staff Nurse - Resource participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive patient care services and proactively supports the efforts that will ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and to promote a safe environment at Children's. 

 

Requirements/Qualifications:Current license in the state of Georgia as a Registered Nurse is required Graduation from an approved Diploma or Associate?s Degree program is required  BSN is preferred 3+ years of Plastic surgical experience is required (scrubbing and circulating); pediatric experience is preferred CNOR is preferred BLS certification is required Must be able to successfully pass the Basic Windows Skills Assessment at 80% or higher rating within 30 days of date of hire.
