OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE

Coordinates and provides employee-related health and wellness programs. Manages initial medical care, medical screening and health education. Works with Human Resources in administering and monitoring medical leaves of absence, in addition to providing workers compensation case management and tracking. Manages all medical records, including individual employee health records, OSHA logs and workers compensation cases. Does not dispense or administer medicine.nvironmental, health, and safety regulations

Requirements:

Registered Nurse is preferred.
Must possess excellent people skills and adaptability to work with people at all levels.
Must be open to working flexible hours.
Need to have some exposure to OSHA and FMLA regulations and Short Term Disability administration.
Some exposure to workers compensation administration and case management within a manufacturing environment.
Be able to develop wellness initiatives and programs that align with the the company's goals and direction.
In addition, must be extremely organized and possess excellent follow-up skills.
